The modern, air conditioned science and technology library in the museum campus houses about 3000 books in various scientific disciplines – including classical and modern.  The library is a repositary of a good number of science encyclopedias, general encyclopedias, dictionaries and other reference handbooks. The library serves as a reference house for various disciplines – viz astronomy, popular science, physical science, chemical science, life science, earth science, environmental science, engineering, management, information technology etc. A good number of national as well as foreign-general and academic magazines (like  New Scientist, Science, Sky and Telescope, Astronomy, TLS, Time, Indian Academy of Science Publications etc) can also be availed by the public.
