1. Motion Simulator: It is proposed to have a multi-dimensional Motion Simulator with maximum degrees of freedom to immerse the visitors in virtual reality and to propagate science through entertainment. The project is expected to be completed by March 2010.

2. Musical fountain: To attract evening crowd to the highly educational amenities available in the campus, it is proposed to have some scientific fun with dancing fountains of water with background music in the already constructed amphitheatre. The project is also expected to be completed by March 2010.

3. Laser Shows: By incorporating the recent developments of science such as Lasers, fun and entertainment can be provided to the common man. It can also provide education to the visitors. The museum plans to have educational shows with laser on for, as well as on water jet.

4. Sound and Light Shows: The culturally developed State of Kerala has a lot of information related to its traditional practices in science which can be pumped to the tourists and other visitors by way of light and sound shows. In the meantime shows related to the evolution can also be presented to the public. The Museum is planning to arrange these in the already existing garden.

5. Dam complex with Hydel Generation: Idukki- the largest hydroelectric power station of Kerala and the biggest of its kind in Asia is also a structural wonder. It is proposed to set up a scaled down model of Idukki Arch dam modifying the already existing Hydroelectric power generating station in the Energy Park of the Museum.

6. Modernization of electrical gallery: It is proposed to develop the existing electrical gallery in Collaboration with KSEB in tune with the Power House Museum of Sydney, Australia. The visitors can interact with attractive exhibits on electricity as well as learn the principles behind them.

7. Robotics Centre: Developing a gallery on Robotics is planned with all types of robots in a similar way as presented in the Robotics Museum of Japan.

8. Butterfly Park: It is planned to develop a portion of the garden of the Museum into a Butterfly by Park by creating suitable environment. The visitors can enjoy the nature with the colourful butterflies and also learn about them.

9. Cactus Park: To create an awareness of the environment and the necessity of harmony with nature, a cactus park is also planned.

10. Biannual Journal for Young minds: It is planned to publish a Biannual journal for children with the purpose of inculcating scientific temper in the minds of the young. Projects and Experiments of highest standards will be selected by a team of experts for publication.

11. Youth Hostel: As the activities of Museum, such as summer classes, talent development programme, Sky watching etc are increasing day by day, the Museum plans to provide accommodation to Boys and Girls separately in the Campus by establishing Youth Hostels of capacity 60 each, with facilities for economy type boarding.
